England v the Chinese team – Women's Friendly Fixture
Preamble
Welcome everyone to the non-competitive fixture between the English side and the Chinese squad at Wembley Stadium. This promises to be an exciting contest with the current Euro titleholders competing against the current Asian Cup champions.
England’s national stadium is packed for the event, which will see Fran Kirby celebrated pre-match after her retirement from the national team before the Euro tournament this past summer.
Squad announcements will be announced shortly, but there was a recent squad update for England. On Friday, Khiara Keating withdrew from the squad with a minor injury, and so previous starter Ellie Roebuck has been added to the squad.
With Hannah Hampton out of action, it will be intriguing to observe who England manager Sarina Wiegman selects in goal. That news and all the other updates are on the way before the opening whistle at 5.30pm GMT.

The team news is in. Anna Moorhouse will be the goalkeeper for England in the non-presence of Hannah Hampton and Khiara Keating.
